A Photo Shoot for 'Loaded' Magazine'

Diane recently took part in her first-ever magazine shoot. Loaded Magazine dedicated 5 pages of photos to Diane in a celebration of the hard work and effort she has put in to her training regime.

Diane hopes the images will help to give others the confidence to really celebrate and appreciate their own bodies and inspire them to want to look after themselves as best as they can. (Aug 2008 edition).

Diane at Thundersprint

Diane has agreed to work with mosshaselhurst solicitors (www.mosshaselhurst.co.uk) at the forthcoming Thundersprint event based in Northwich.

The event, apparently the second largest biking event in the world, is set to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors, most of whom will surely want to see Diane taking the latest Harley Davidson around the Thundersprint track. Diane is really looking forward to the event especially as she is endorsing an organisation as ethically minded as mosshaselhurst (www.mosshaselhurst.co.uk).

Be sure to look in at this page again to see Diane's comments and photographs of the day. For more information see www.thundersprint.com

Core Philosophy CD and Seminars
Highly anticipated and coming soon!

'Want to learn more as to why you and others are the way you are at times?'

A word from Diane...

'From an early age when I was not somersaulting around as a gymnast in my more thoughtful moments I picked up a copy of my father's New Scientist magazines, heading straight for anything on the human being and its 'development'. Anthropology and the workings of the mind always drew my attention enough for me to announce that one day I would study this area and know more about the human 'mind'.

As we are all works in progress I can now bring many theoretical and personal insights to this multifaceted and enjoyable seminar, having worked in training, health and personal development for 19 years as a fitness professional, educator and psychotherapist.'

Diane's work both privately and with the NHS has meant that she has developed some key insights and with up to date research in psychology, neuroscience and health, Diane delivers in her frank and open manner, a 3-Dimensional programme proving insightful, educative, philosophical, inspiring and in some cases, raising as many questions in the fields of health and psychology as it answers.

Who is it for?

It is for everybody! Health care professionals, counsellors/psychotherapists, fitness professionals, anyone working for improving working lives and those generally interested in finding out more about people and themselves and using it as a tool to develop oneself.

Gladiators New Series Website Host...

Diane as 'Jet' is back! Diane has been involved with filming for the all-new Gladiators Sky website, which goes live in conjunction with the new series that starts in early May.

Diane says "It was amazing seeing the new show come together with all its recognisable events and set. There was also mind blowing new takes on the show with nearly £10 million being spent on the lighting facilities alone, the addition of a pool to add spectacular dimensions to events that we all know and love, plus a new event too.

Meeting the new presenters Kirsty and Ian was a highlight and gaining an insight into the back stage, personal perspectives as such an enormous vehicle came together was something I felt very privileged in having access to. The new Glad's are just fantastic and really well selected by the iconic John Anderson. What is exceptional about them is that they are hungry and as athletes not just well trained but really functional and capable of conquering all the events - important out there as there is little place to hide in a bit of lycra!

I remember how important it felt to capitalise on one or two of the events so you felt you had something to be linked to (ie; a high profile event like Hang Tough or Duel) in terms of being hard to beat. I was in discussions with a few of our new team and spent time reassuring them that during this, the first year it will be a case of cutting one's teeth to ascertain how this would be for each of them.

Even key members of production side and crew have reappeared and it felt almost like old times!'

When asked about how popular the new show will be, Diane says '...it is cult now. We (the original show) aided in creating a bit of a zeitgeist and now it even has members of the audience dressing up as warriors from various times in history as Roman Centurions, Spartans... to help support the coliseum-like atmosphere that pervades the new set. Its popularity will go hand in hand with how the audience relate and make 'favourites' of contenders and Gladiators alike. We must never underestimate the courage of the contender and the journey they and their families/friends take as they start in the heats and work their way to the final.

On the health of the nation, Diane says,During the original series many of the viewers at home shared with me and others how the show inspired them to become more active in their lives. It is on this note and to end this page as an educator in fitness and transformational change, I am thrilled at the thought of yet another generation feeling compelled to get off the sofa and get active. Maybe just maybe they'll even be so bold as to click on and request an application so they too can compete in the arena - and face the Gladiators!

Spare Time

At the moment, in between Diane's busy schedule, she is still finding time to train hard. The plan is for Diane to go for another photo shoot and have another batch of photographs produced, with the aim being to look fitter, stronger, leaner and sexier than ever. Her inspiration lies in demonstrating how people can enjoy their lives, their bodies and achieve true happiness by eliminating any limiting beliefs in their lives. As Diane quotes... 'life is just too short'.

Diane in 2006

2006 was a transitional year where Diane brought together the many different aspects of her working life. Outside of her performing and creative career she has always been teaching and presenting as a health, fitness and wellbeing professional. She is a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, she has also qualified this year to be a Trainer in NLP. This means she is qualified to certify and train practitioners up to Masters Level in NLP. NLP Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a model of understanding human behavior and mental processes.

This year she formed a new company that she has been developing under the surface for years: Core Equilibrium Ltd.

Core Equilibrium Ltd. has created bespoke trainings, seminars and workshops for companies who aim to improve working lives. The programmes cover complete wellbeing and personal development as well as professional management and Leadership trainings. Watch this space for further information and for our products in 2007.

On a lighter note and in total contrast Diane will be in Panto again this year! She is working with UK Productions in Peter Pan at The Auditorium in Grimsby. This is her second visit back to the venue and she is looking forward to traipsing the boards again as Mrs. Darling and a rather funky street-wise Mermaid!

Diane can also be seen in a short TV documentary called "3 Minute Wonder". It discusses why someone from an iconic TV programme such as Gladiators would be doing Panto. It's on Channel 4 at 7.55pm on Wednesday 20th December.
